The first step to any alignment we perform, is to make sure all of the critical parts of the front end are in good enough condition to set all 3 alignment angles. If we set the alignment with loose parts, the angles will be different as soon as we back it off of the lift. Our technician diagnosed your vehicle with having lower ball joints that were worn beyond specification, as well as a hub bearing with 1/4" axial play. If alignment was done with loose parts, this would've and will cause further tire wear because the alignment will not "hold". Some shops will do an alignment but we won't. You were charged $39.99+tax for front end check for bad parts and not the cost of an alignment.
